Brian Blessed (born 9 October 1936), also known as "Blian bruh-bleh", is an English actor, known for his sonorous voice and "hearty, king-sized portrayals". He is also an author, adventurer and god amongst men.

Brian Blessed has made several appearances in the podcasts, and his wife, Hildegarde, has also appeared a few times in liners. Brian is most well-known to the Yognau(gh)ts for admitting his immense hatred of his wife on the YoGPoD.

He is famous for his love of jam, and has been known to make jam sandwiches at Simon Lane's house during the YoGPoD, as well as trying to steal his jam supply that is currently lost in space, buried in the middle of the Moon (see Simon's Jam). He also prefers his eggs scrambled, and scrambles them by shouting at them.
